At age 40 I thought I was healthy.  I never had any surgeries or chronic health issues, and I was not on any medications.  All of that changed with one family summer vacation to the beach. I returned from it not feeling well which was not normal for me. After being evaluated from the medical professionals when I got back, I discovered I had Afib or what is known as atrial fibrillation of the heart. To say this was a shock was putting it mildly. I couldn't believe it! The cardiologist prescribed me two medications and sent me on my way. I asked how long would I need them? He said the rest of your life!

I took those meds daily knowing I had to as I was at risk for stroke, but something did not sit right with me. I just did not understand how this happened.! After I made my way back to a normal healthy life I was recommended by Dr. Wilson to become certified in mineral balancing. He felt with my career in technology I would be a great candidate to help people. I accepted the offer and this became a turning point in my life helping people which has been the most rewarding thing I ever imagined.
